The Network
Drivers have access to all 1,100 Esso branded fuel stations in the UK. There are various ways of finding your nearest Esso petrol station including an online site locator, downloadable satnav files and mobile app.
Fuel Pricing
The network is split into two types of sites – “Commercial” and “Non-Commercial”. At all Esso “Commercial” sites you will receive one of the lowest fixed prices for diesel available in the UK – typically 4-6p per litre below national average pump prices. This price is fixed each week, running from Monday-Sunday and will be sent to you on a Friday afternoon.
Diesel purchases made at a “Non-Commercial” site are charged at the price displayed on the fuel pump plus a surcharge per litre.
Administration and Reporting
All fuel transactions are listed on a single HMRC- compliant invoice, reducing administration for your business and eliminating the need to gather fuel receipts. Detailed transaction reports are available through the online account management system, which allows you to order new cards or cancel any lost/stolen cards.
Velocity limits can be set, meaning you have control over the number of times fuel is purchased on each card and the amount of fuel that can be bought.
Security
Every transaction is authorised at the point of sale. You can also personalise your cards with driver names or vehicle registrations, adding extra security to your fuel purchases.
